Why clearing cache?
You might have heard the phrase ‘clear cache’ many times.
But why is it said all the time? There are several reasons for this:
- If you are building a website or if someone is building a website for you and they update files that are linked to the site, such as scripts(js) that perform actions on the site or design files (CSS), these files are usually stored in the browser’s cache. Therefore, if you want to see the changes on the site, you won’t be able to see them unless you clear the old files from the browser.
- Sometimes there are issues when trying to log in to various sites that require a username and password. When there are updates on these sites, it may be necessary to clear the cache to log in properly.
- Â If you are trying to log out of your account on a specific site and you’re unable to do so for any reason, it could be a problem with the browser or an issue with the site itself. Clearing the cache can immediately log you out of the site.
You can do this, but it is not recommended. Because when you enter to website in the first time, the browser saving files to use them in the next times and In the next times , the website will load faster. and like i mentioned before, cache save your website login passwords to the next time.Â
Chrome:
 1. Click on the 3 dots on the right corner of your chrome browser.Â
 2. Click on “Settings”.Â
 3. In the “Settings” page click on “Privacy and security”
 4. And click on “Delete browsing data”
 5. In the popup menu, deselect the “Browsing history” and “Cookies and other site data” , Select the “Time range” do you want to delete the cache and click “Delete data”.
Firefox:
 1. Click on the 3 Lines on the right corner of your Firefox browser.Â
 2. Click on “Settings”.Â
 3. In the “Settings” page click on “Privacy & Security”.
 4. In “Privacy & Security” tab, scroll down to “Cookies and Site Data”, then click on “Clear Data…”
 5 . In the popup window, deselect “Coockies and Site Data” and then click “Clear”.
Edge:
 1. Click on the 3 Lines on the right corner of your edge browser.Â
 2. Click on “Settings”.Â
 3. In the “Settings” page click on “Privacy, search and services”.
 4. In the “Privacy, search and services” tab click on “Choose what to clear”.
 5. In the popup window, make sure that “cached images and files” is selected, and then click “Clear now”
Safari:
 1. In the browser nav bar, click on “Safari” and then click on “Preferences…”
 2. In the “Preferences” popup window, Click on “Privacy” and then click on “Remove All Website Data…”
 3. In the popup window, Click on “Remove Now“.
