- Open the google “Maps” app on your android,iphone or ipad device.
 2. In the search bar, search a place that you want to download the map.
 3. In the window bellow swipe your finger to the left in the menu until you see the name “More”.
 4. Then click on “Download offline map”.
 5. You will see window with a blue border color. The lighter area is the place you will download the maps. You can resize the map with your two fingers to get more or less details. if you zoom in you get less details if you zoom out you get more details. The storage size of the maps varies depending on the focus on the map.
 6. Then click “Download”
 7. Your will have to wait several second or several minutes to download the map. Depend of the size of the map. You can see the download process in the notification bar.
 8. To view the downloaded map, click on the profile icon near the search bar.
 9. Click on “Offline maps”.
And now you can see the Downloaded maps in the 3 dots, you can update the map for future changes, view the map, rename the map or Delete the map.
